KUCHING — In October 2022, there were in total 271 young Catholics of St Joseph Cathedral Parish’s Religious Education group who received Holy Communion for the first time. They were from our city mission schools and Parish Sunday School: 54 Communicants from SJC Sunday School, 31 Communicants from SK St Teresa, 39 Communicants from SK Catholic English and 147 Communicants from BM Sunday School. This spiritual milestone of our young was witnessed by the congregation at the various Sunday Masses.
We pray for these children who have received their First Holy Communion, that they may be strengthened in their faith and build a strong relationship with Jesus. Amen.
