KUCHING — A group of 19 members of EMPOWERED Ministry gathered together at St James Room on Friday, 13 May to worship and pray together, adhering to COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The purpose of the session was to gather leaders and active members of the Ministry for a time of communal prayer and fellowship, in preparation of organising more programmes physically after a series of virtual programmes done during the pandemic period.
The evening began with a praise and worship session led by the Music Team with ‘Bersyukurlah’ and ‘Good Grace’. The Intercessory Team then led the Rosary Prayer meditating on the Sorrowful Mysteries in conjunction with May being the Month of Mary and ended with the hymn, ‘As I Kneel Before You’. After the prayer, members had a time of fellowship with each other and concluded with announcements and a closing prayer.
