KUCHING — After a year of preparation, 29 catechumens who enrolled for the 2021/2022 Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) course at Blessed Sacrament Church were confirmed as Catholics at a special Mass on Easter Sunday afternoon, 17 April 2022.
Making up this number of neophytes were 17 elects who received the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation together with their first Holy Communion from Parish Rector, Fr Patrick Heng. Eight (8) confirmands received the sacrament of Confirmation and four (4) candidates were accepted into the Catholic Church during the Rite of Reception.
