My dear Brother Bishop Sebastian,
Conferment of the Darjah Gemilang Pangkuan Negeri (DGPN)
Congratulations on the conferment of the Darjah Gemilang Pangkuan Negeri (DGPN) upon you, in conjunction with the 72nd birthday celebration of Tuan Yang Terutama Yang Dipertua of Pulau Pinang, which carries the title of “Dato’ Seri.”
It is a joyful moment to give thanks to the Lord for the leadership you have exemplified and the contribution you have made in your role to the community and state. Most of all it mirrors the witness of the faithful People of God in your diocese through their manifold presence and services, with you as their pastor. O rejoice little flock of God with your pastor! (cf. Luke 12:32).
