KUCHING — The date 30 October 2022 was a memorable day for 40 children from St Peter’s Church Sunday School. 19 boys and 21 girls had been preparing for their First Holy Communion since the beginning of the year.
At this special Mass celebrated by parish rector Fr Vincent Chin, these first communicants were told to continue to attend Mass every Sunday to receive the Holy Eucharist. It is an important source of nourishment for our spiritual life as Christians.
Parents were reminded to continue to send their children for catechism classes as these lessons help build a solid foundation for their children’s faith.
Fr Chin also expressed his sincere thanks to all faith formators involved in preparing these children for their First Holy Communion.
