KOTA PADAWAN — On 10 October, St Faustina’s community of Taman Landeh, Modern Home and Penrissen Estate planted trees at the Home of Peace (HOPE) centre. The occasion was officiated by the Rector of St Ann, Rev Friar Gerard Victor and attended by the community from Taman Landeh, Taman Modern Home and Penrissen Estate, witnessed by Friar William Lee.
In his message, Friar Gerard congratulated St Faustina community for taking the initiative to organise such an event. “It is important for the community to have a close relationship with the residents to create a sense of belonging among the community,” he added. Friar Gerard also encouraged the community to visit the residents frequently.
Manggo, mangosteen, rambutan and soursop were planted and more fruit trees will be planted in the future. The community hoped that the trees will not only bear fruit one day but also provide shed and beautify the landscape which is bare and deserted.

I heard about the Catholic Church in Mount Singai, Bau. I would like to know when is the actual feast day of this place as I would like to bring a group of people to go there and pray.
